ENI and Sonatrach Reach Agreement

Italy’s ENI and Algeria’s Sonatrach have agreed on a package solution regarding their existing gas contract. The two came to an agreement for 2013 and a gas contract which will have the pair, as part of the agreement, reduce certain quantities of the contractual gas volumes delivered into Italy.

This agreement is part of the renegotiations program started in recent months, and contributes to the announced objectives of profitability and cash generation.
