ENI CEO Meets with Unity Government in Libya

Claudio Descalzi, CEO of ENI, has paid his first visit to the new head of Libya’s unity government, Prime Minister Fayez Serrai. The ENI executive met with Serrai on June 4.

The visit is seen as ENI reiterating its continuing commitment to its operations in Libya and its support of NOC’s efforts to increase production.

ENI is one of the few multinationals that have maintained its operations in Libya, most recently awarding Technip a contract for its Bahr Essalam, Phase II development offshore the country.
