ENI Granted Egyptian Land for Gas Plant

The government of Egypt granted ENI a portion of land in the Port Said governorate to construct a gas plant. The Italian firm was granted 400 feddans to establish the processing plant for the Zohr gas field.

ENI plans to build two natural gas plants as part of its program to increase processing capacity for gas from the Zohr development in the Mediterranean’s offshore Shorouk concession.

Construction is already under way on the planned processing plant and associated gathering installations in Port Said, the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum said.
