ENI Hit by Niger Delta Avengers

ENI is the latest victim of an attack on its crude facilities in Nigeria’s Niger Delta. The company saw its Obi Obi Brass Pipeline attacked by the Niger Delta Avengers on June 10.

“There was an attack on the Obi Obi Brass Pipeline between 1 and 2 am today Friday,” said Desmond Agu, commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps in Bayelsa state in a Reuters report.

“There is an oil spill at the scene …but the place is not on fire.”
