ENI’s Descalzi Meets with Algerian Officials

ENI CEO, Claudio Descalzi, met with several government and energy officials in Algeria. Descalzi met with the North African country’s Prime Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal; the Energy Minister, Salah Khebri; and the President and General Director (PDG) of Sonatrach, Amine Mazouzi.

During the meeting, ENI’s CEO outlined further opportunities for the relaunch of the activities within the development of gas and oil in the existing concessions in Algeria.

Descalzi also expressed his hopes for the development of future collaborations in the renewable energy sector in order to strengthen the partnership of over 10 years between the two countries and the two companies.
