Despite claims by Nigerian militant group Niger Delta Avengers that it attacked an ExxonMobil facility in the Niger Delta, the US supermajor says no attack took place.
The group claims it blew up ExxonMobil’s Qua Iboe oil pipeline, but on July 12 Todd Spitler, spokesman for the company said, :There were no attacks on our facilities.”
