According to arrest records from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office just north of Houston, Texas, Davis Scott, Senior Vice President ExxonMobil Upstream – Unconventionals, was arrested on October 5 on sexual assault charges.
The exact charges were not clear stemming from an incident at a hotel room in Magnolia, Texas, and Scott was later released on a $30,000 bond.
ExxonMobil released a statement on Scott’s arrest as follows: ““All ExxonMobil employees, officers and directors are accountable for observing the highest standards of integrity and code of conduct in support of the Company’s business and otherwise. We are aware of the allegations and cannot comment on a personal matter; however, we can say that this individual will not continue work responsibilities as the investigation proceeds.”
