Tuesday, July 29, 2014

Two female suicide bombers attacked northern Nigeria as sectarian clashes continue to mount. One detonated explosives that killed at least five people and injured seven others at a NNPC fuel station in the northern Nigerian city of Kano. The second bomber killed herself and injured six others, including two policemen.

Bloomberg reported that UK-based risk consultancy Maplecroft said that Nigeria suffers from the world’s deadliest “terror attacks” with an average of 24 deaths per incident out of 146 recorded in the year through June.
