Fire Breaks Out at Sonatrach Processing Unit

In Algeria, a fire at state-run firm, Sonatrach’s GNL1Z gas production unit broke out. The facility is located in the Algerian city of Oran.

Two people were injured in the fire, Sonatrach said in a statement, but no casualties were reported. The company also said that the fire would have no impact on production.

The fire was followed by many explosions according to reports from a local television station.
