Fuel Tanker Explodes Killing 36 in Nigeria

Tragedy struck just outside the Nigerian city of Lagos on April 5 when a tanker exploded. According to reports a minimum of 36 people died after a fuel tanker crashed into a crowded bus and exploded.

Officials from the Federal Road Safety Commission said the crash happened on the Benin-Ore road, which links Lagos with southeast Nigeria. Besides the at least 36 dead, there were three people injured.
