Oil flows from Sinopec unit Addax Petroleum’s Tsiengui and Obangue fields have been halted due to a strike by workers on the oilfields according to an ONEP official. ONEP is Gabon’s oil workers union.
The strike was launched when the union learned of plans to dismiss five of ONEP’s workers.
The Tsienfui and Obangue fields produce around 22,000 bpd.
