Ganope Offers up 10 Blocks

Egypt’s state-run oil and gas firm in charge of activities in Upper Egypt, Ganoub El Wadi Petroleum Holding Company (Ganope), launched its next licensing round. The firm is offering up 10 blocks for exploration in the south Gulf of Suez and Western Desert.

The blocks on offer in the Western Desert are the El Kharga, the S. El Kharga, the W. Mesaha, the Mesaha, and the E. Mesaha. In the south Gulf of Suez Ganope put on offer the W. Gabal El Zeit, the SE Ghara, the E. Geisum, the Sea Bird, and the S. Sinai.

Companies interested in any of the blocks can review the technical data and purchase the Data Packages related to the blocks. The round will close on November 30.
