Ganope Signs Contract with Schlumberger and TGS

Egypt’s state-run oil and gas firm in Upper Egypt, Ganope, signed a new geophysical contract with Schlumberger and TGS. According to an Egypt Oil& Gas report, the contract includes geophysical studies on Egypt’s Red Sea territorial waters and in Upper Egypt. The contract is said to be worth $750 million.

The contract was signed by Ganope’s Head, Sherif Sousa, Schlumberger’s Regional Head, Hussein Fouad Ghazy, and TGS’ Regional Head, Simon Bowen.
