Gazprom Considers Tanzania

Reports out of Russia have the country’s gas giant Gazprom pursuing opportunities in Tanzania. IRAR-TASS A report from its subisidiary, Gazprom International said the company is interested in projects offshore and inland areas, including Lake Tanganyika.

According to the report, Tanzania’s terms for participants of license tenders, potential partners and strategic investors, Gazprom International’s specialists will soon complete the examination of geologic and geophysical and other information received to determine the prospects of further operation in Tanzania.
