GE and Oceaneering Score OCTP Contract

A consortium made up of Oceaneering International and GE Oil & Gas has secured a contract for work offshore Ghana. The contract was awarded by ENI and its partners on the Offshore Cape Three Points (OCTP) Block, Vitol, and GNPC.

Oceaneering and GE will supply equipment for the OCTP Project development.

Oceaneering’s scope of work under this contract is to supply electro-hydraulic, steel tube umbilicals totaling approximately 51 kms in length. This contract adds over $100 million to Oceaneering’s Subsea Products backlog. Product manufacturing is planned to be performed at its umbilical facility in Panama City, Florida and is expected to commence in the Q2 2015 and be completed in Q4 2017

GE will solely deliver the turbomachinery solutions scope, which features three LM2500+G4 gas turbines for power generation and four centrifugal compressors electric motor driven.
