We are now less than a month away from the Middle East and North Africa’s only meeting to build partnerships between oil and gas companies and vocational education and technical training providers. Hosted at the Abu Dhabi Polytechnic in Abu Dhabi, on November 25 – 27, the event will be attended by 200 prestigious leaders from government, industry and education.

Getenergy’s VTEC MENA brings together governments, colleges, polytechnics, private training providers, oil and gas companies and service companies all with invested interests in the MENA region. The ambition is to sustainably develop in-country vocational and technical education capacity that collaborates closely with industry, to ensure a safe and competent workforce.

The event will be attended by the patron H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister for Culture, Youth and Community Development, UAE. Shell Abu Dhabi are supporting the participation of three colleges from the oil-rich Western Region of the UAE to exhibit at the event, demonstrating the essential partnership between oil companies and colleges.

Partnerships like this will be created through ample networking with 39 exhibiting companies and education providers in the “Learning Arena Exhibition”, in addition to the ‘no PowerPoint’ speaker programme.
