Global Petroleum reported that the first phase of its Juan de Nova Permit in the Mozambique Channel will expire at the end of the year. The company is in active discussions with the operator, Wessex Petroleum, regarding the terms to be submitted to the French authorities for the second phase.
Global also said that it will be re-launching its farm-out program with its advisor for its acreage in Namibia. It added that potential farminees to the company’s acreage have been awaiting the results of the two HRT wells, the last of which was recently completed.
