GPC makes Gas Discovery at Abu Sennan

In Egypt, the General Petroleum Company (GPC) has announced a new natural gas discovery at its Abu Sennan concession. The discovery is producing 28 million cubic feet per day (mmcf/d) as well as 1,180 barrels of condensates per day.

The well was drilled in 15 days and was supplemented by using GPC’s well repair device, reducing drilling time resulting in a significant cost savings for this well.
