Harkand signed a new JV agreement in Angola with ESOPEG Lda, its first strategic partnership in the country. The newly formed company Harkand Angola Lda, based in Luanda, will focus on the development of local inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) capabilities and services in country. It aims to provide support and local content on both large major capital development projects and maintenance to existing ageing operations.
The JV makes the full spectrum of Harkand’s ROV and diving, inspection, engineering, project management and survey services available to the Angolan market.
Harkand has forged a number of strategic partnerships as it progresses its ambitious global growth strategy. In the past 12 months the company has established joint ventures in Nigeria and Ghana, facilitating the delivery of its suite of integrated subsea services to the West African marketplace.
