Helicopter Crash Outside Lagos Kills Four

Workers traveling by helicopter from an oil rig in Nigeria died when the helicopter crashed into a lagoon outside of Lagos. The helicopter, owned by Bristow, went down in the lagoon outside the city, killing four and injuring eight others.

Injured victims were taken to the hospital, according to the National Emergency Management Agency. In a statement Bristow said it was still trying to identify those on board and the extent of any injuries. It said preliminary information indicated the chopper was carrying two crew and eight passengers.
