Independent Resources Extends Stay on Ksar Hadada

Independent Resources received confirmation from Tunisia’s Comité Consultatif des Hydrocarbures (CCH) that the extension of the Ksar Hadada permit was approved. The decision to approve the extension was taken at a meeting of the CCH on May 5.

The extension takes the company’s stay on the permit to August 2017 and will be formally gazetted in due course.

The extension will allow Independent Resources time for potential farm-in partners to complete exploration program commitments. The company will continue its discussions in order to prepare to meet its work obligations.
