Industry Leaders to Gather for Mozambique Gas Summit

Industry leaders to discuss role of Mozambique as the major global gas player at the 2nd Mozambique Gas Summit

  • Senior officials in the gas sector representing Ministry of Mineral Resources, INP, ENH, Anadarko Moçambique, eni, Shell, and Sasol among others confirmed to speak and attend
  • Summit to take place 2-5 December in Maputo

30 September 2014 – London – Gas projects and partnerships, licensing rounds, infrastructure transformation in Mozambique will be discussed among leaders of the gas and LNG industry, representing producers, suppliers, buyers, investors and distributors at the 2nd Mozambique Gas Summit. The conference takes place in Maputo from 2-5 December.

Keynote speakers who will give an overview of the country’s energy market, and their perspectives on the outlook for gas in Mozambique as well as in the global context include:

  • Hon Esperança Laurinda Francisco Nhiuane Bias, Minister of Mineral Resources, Republic of Mozambique
  • Nelson Ocuane, Chairman, ENH
  • Fabrizio Trilli, General Manager, eni East Africa
  • Edward Daniels, Executive Vice President Commercial & NBD, Shell
  • John Peffer, President, Anadarko Moçambique

Mozambican Ministry of Energy, ENH Logistics, IPEME and Bechtel will discuss accelerating infrastructure transformation – improving ports, roads, airports, marine services and the power sector. The confirmed panelists are:
