Islamic terrorist group ISIS’ affiliate in Egypt has claimed an attack on a naval vessel in the Mediterranean Sea near the coast of Israel and the Gaza Strip. The group said it fired a rocket at the navy vessel.
A statement from the Egyptian military said that a coastguard launch had exchanged shots with “terrorist elements,” causing the vessel to catch fire. No one was killed in the exchange.
Military sources said the suspected militants fled after firing on the vessel.
