Jereh announced that five sets of compressor units it designed and manufactured have been shipped to Algeria. This is the first time for the Chinese manufacturer to provide sets of oil and gas equipment for Sonatrach, Algeria’s national oil and gas company.
The five sets of 1253 kW gas engine-driven compressors will support a gas boosting project at Block 405B in Berkine Basin.
“We have more than ten years of experience on high-end compressor packaging and designing. By now, about 100 sets of non-standard compressors have been delivered for different applications. For the African market, we have had presence in Nigeria and Gabon already. Together with the high-quality pressure vessel design, manufacturing capacity, we as well as Made in China are recognized and win the order,” said Xiuqiang Song, the R&D engineer of this project.
