Kachikwu Named President of APPO

Nigeria’s Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, was named as the new President of the African Petroleum Producers’ Organization (APPO).
Kachikwu, who replaced Chadian Oil Minister Michel Boukar, in his inaugural address pledged to further reposition the organization to be a key player in the global energy sector.
