The Kaombo Norte FPSO left Singapore bound for Angola last week. The vessel will pump and store crude for Total’s Kaomba field offshore Angola on the ultra-deepwater Block 32.
According to Total, the project is set to produce first oil this summer. The FPSO can pump 115,000 bpd, half the oil block’s eventual production of 230,000 bpd.
Another FPSO, Kaombo Sul, is still in Singapore.
