BP awarded KBR’s UK operating subsidiary the Pre-FEED Services contract for Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim project located on the maritime border between Senegal and Mauritania. The Phases 2 and 3 are for the further development of Tortue field beyond Phase 1.
These next phases of the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim project will significantly expand capacity to deliver additional gas from an ultra deep-water subsea system, tied back to mid-water gas processing platforms. The gas will then be transferred to pre-treatment and offshore LNG facilities located at the established Phase 1 hub.
