Keita Camp Declares Him a Winner

Malian President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita has won a second-round election runoff “comfortably,” according to a provisional vote count by his own camp, his spokesman BocaryTreta told reporters on Tuesday.

The opposition claims fraud and cheating by the Keita cam. However, while EU observers said that there were some irregularities, they did not note any fraud.

The ballot pitted Keita against opposition leader SoumailaCisse after an inconclusive first round in July when Keita won about 41%.
