Keppel Wins Coral South Turret Job

Keppel Offshore & Marine through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Keppel Shipyard, was awarded a contract for the fabrication of a turret mooring system from SOFEC. The turret mooring system will be used on ENI’s Coral South FLNG project offshore Mozambique.

Fabrication is scheduled to begin in Q1 2018 with delivery of the turret components expected in Q1 2020.

The news of the award comes as the Coral South FLNG project achieved financial close.

In addition, Keppel FELS Brasil S.A. has been awarded a contract from Petrobras for hull carry over work for a FPSO vessel.

The two contracts have a combined value of approximately $96 million.
