Konecranes’ RTGs on Order for Nigeria

Konecranes received an order for 16 new advanced Rubber-Tire Gantry cranes (RTGs). The order comes from APM Terminals Global Terminal Network.

Of the 16 ordered four are destined for Nigeria. The RTGs are for APM Terminals Apapa and are expected to be delivered in one year. The remaining 12 are bound for Spain.

The new 16-wheeled RTGs offer a lifting capacity of 41 tons and the ability to maneuver containers into stacks five containers high.
