Lekoil’s Otakikpo-002 Complete

Lekoil’s Otakikpo-002 in Nigeria has been completed. The company said that evacuation facilities are nearing completion and the rig has been mobilized to the Otakikpo-003 well site.

The company is nearing commercial production and first cargos are expected to be lifted in Q3 2016.  Lekoil is targeting production of 10,000 bpd by year-end and will then proceed to phase two of the development plan for the Otakikpo field.

Phase two of the development plan includes new wells that should bring aggregate production to around 20,000 bpd by the end of 2017.
