With its production lagging by over 1 million bpd, Libya may be forced to cut back its already meager production if factions in the country cannot come to terms.
A stand-off between eastern and western factions has prevented loadings at the Marsa al-Hariga port, an official from oil firm NOC in Tripoli told Reuters.
The Tripoli-based NOC official said that remaining storage capacity at the port was limited and filling up fast. Negotiations are ongoing to resolve the dispute between the two factions.
