Libya saw a new discovery made by Repsol, OMV, and Total. The partners drilled the A1-129/02 New Field Wildcat in the Murzuq Basin.
The well tested at a rate of 513 bpd from the Mamuniyat formation in an interval between 4,502-4,522 ft.
The well is located approximately 35 km east of the production facilities of the El Sharara Oil Field and approximately 1,000 km south of Tripoli.
