Libyan Exports Up

Monday, March 30, 2015

Crude exports out of Libya are topping 620,000 bpd according to an NOC official. This is more than 300,000 bpd than reports had the country exporting just six or so weeks ago.

NOC declared force majeure on 11 oil fields in February, with attacks on facilities bringing production to below 275,000 bpd.

A number of firms are aiding Libya in picking up the flow rate, with ENI producing an estimated 250,000 boepd from its Elephant and Wafa fields. NOC’s units are doing their part with Sirte Oil Co. producing upwards of 70,000 bpd and Agoco around 290,000 bpd of crude.

Omran Al-Zuwai Agoco, spokesman, told the Libya Herald that Agoco was, “keeping this current production rate at the moment.”
