Clashes between ISIS and army units under the control of Libya’s official government in Tobruk led to the death of four soldiers. Three soldiers were also wounded during fighting with ISIS fighters outside Derna, military officials said.
The Tobruk government’s air force attacked suspected ISIS targets in Benghazi, a different battle site, air force spokesman Nasser al-Hassi said.
No casualty figures were available.
