Energy and Corporate Africa will host the Africa Marginal & Independent Oil/Gas Producers Conference in mid-October in London. According to the organizer, as the development of marginal fields and small-large assets have become very crucial in increasing national production, private sector capital inflow in the oil and gas industry, indigenous participation, economic buoyancy, employment opportunities and the strive to achieve rural electrification through gas-to-power, the importance of giving serious attention to issues concerning subject matter have increased.
Energy & Corporate Africa plans to keep the discussion at the forefront by showcasing the issue under the conference theme of “Maximizing Economics and Technology for Optimization”.

According to Sunny Oputa, the chief executive officer of Energy & Corporate Africa, it has become paramount to be innovative in the use of cost reduction strategies to reduce CAPEX such as alternative technology, use of intellectual development solutions, subsea tiebacks, riser technology, quality lean production mechanisms, value creating methodologies and diverse creative economic options in the development of marginal and small –to large fields.
