Micoperi signed a EPC contract for the Tema LNG import terminal. The contract, which was awarded by Quantum Power Ghana Gas, calls for Micoperi to build the full off- and onshore project infrastructure.
The infrastructure will connect to a FSRU utilized by the project to Ghana’s onshore gas distribution
The partners in the Tema LNG Project executed an offtake agreement with Ghana’s state-run firm, GNPC, and a time charter party agreement with Höegh LNG of Norway for the FSRU. The FSRU agreement is for a 20-year charter with a five-year extension option.
