Sunday, February 5, 2017

A school in Egypt’s north Sinai Peninsula was blown up by militants on February 3, according to local media reports. Luckily the fact that the bombing took place on a Friday led to no causalities or injuries.

Anadolu Agency quoted an anonymous sources as saying, “Terrorists remotely detonated a bomb planted in a school in Rafah’s Al-Rasm neighborhood.”

According to another report out of the North African country, the militants blew up the school in order to hinder the military’s ability to spy on its movements from the roof.
