Damaturu, Nigeria was the site of another round of suicide bombers. The city saw three separate bombings, which left 17 dead. “Seventeen people lost their lives and 11 others injured,” said AbdullahiBego, a spokesman for Yobe state governor Ibrahim Gaidam.
While no one has taken credit for the bombings it is assumed that they were the work of the Boko Haram, who haspledged allegiance to hardline militants, ISIS.
The State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) in Yobe said the three suicide bombers were teenage boys.
