Mozambique Expects FID on First LNG Project Soon

ENI will take the FID on its first offshore LNG project in Mozambique by the end of 2016,according to the country’s Energy Minister Lleticia da Silva Klemens.

Anadarko is expected to make its own investment decision on a separate LNG project next year, da Silva Klemens said.

The FIDs on both projects will aid Mozambique and the companies involved in the developments to move one step closer to commercializing the substantial reserves discovered off the coast of the East African nation.
