Mozambique’s INP will sign new oil and gas prospecting contracts by early-2017 with firms who were awarded rights to explore in the country. The contracts will be finalized in two to four months.
It is expected that the firms, once contracts are finalized, will begin exploration activities immediately.The firms that will be signing contracts include ExxonMobil, Rosneft, and ENI.
These firms will be the first to sign the recently gazetted new Petroleum Exploration and Production Concession Contract Model.
