Shell’s Nembe Creek Trunk oil pipeline in Nigeria’s Niger Delta was shut in once again on February 22. The company shut in the pipeline to repair a leak caused by theft.
The Nembe Creek Trunk oil pipeline pumps Nigeria’s Bonny Light grade of crude oil, taking the oil to the terminal for export.
A Reuters report has Bonny Light exports for April at about 95,000 bpd according to shipping lists; this is roughly 60,000 bpd down from March’s export numbers.
