Companies operating in Angola should be aware of a new decree enacted in October that revolves around consumption tax. Executive Decree (ED) no. 333/13, of October 8 has been published in the Official Gazette and requires service providers to oil companies to assess consumption tax upon issuance of the invoices or equivalent documents.
ED 333/13 repeals all the legal provisions which contradict the new rules.
