New Leader for Eskom Named

South Africa’s state-owned electricity proudcer Eskom has a new leader, Tshediso Matona. The country’s Public Enterprises Minister, Lynne Brown, announced the change that moves the Department of Public Enterprises director general to the CEO position of  Eskom on August 20. 

Matona fills the position left vacant when former CEO Brian Dames left Eskom at the end of March; Colin Matjila has been acting as CEO since Dames’ departure.
