The strike at Niger’s sole refinery has ended allowing for operations to restart at the Soraz refinery. The refinery workers were striking over working conditions and pay.
The strike disrupted fuel deliveries for three days as it restricted deliveries of all oil products from the plant.
The strike was just the latest action taken by the refinery’s workers since last year because of pay discrepancies between local and Chinese employees.
