Nigeria saw its gas production reach7 Bcf/d, according NNPC’s group managing director MaikantiBaru. The NNPC chief said revealed that 1.2 Bcf of that total is being used for domestic consumption.
Baru, added that 3.3 Bcf is exported by the Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) facility, while 2.7 billion Bcf is re-injected into operations.He disclosed that the country still flares 10% of the total gas production, which is about 0.75 Bcf.
