Nigeria’s Federal Inland Revenue Service said that it recovered $2.03 million in oil and gas taxes from corporate businesses during a two-day tax recovery drive in Lagos. According to the News Agency of Nigeria, companies like Baker Hughes, Line Trale, Techno Oil, and Heyden Petroleum participated.
Baker Hughes and Techno Oil was said to have given slightly over $300,000 while Heyden committed about $91,000.
