Nigeria has managed to garner more international interest in its refining sector. According to a statement from state-run firm NNPC, PT Intim Perkasa, an engineering from out of Indonesia, is interest in constructing a refinery in the country.
A representative of PT Intim Perkasa Nigeria Ltd, a subsidiary of the Indonesian company, indicated an interest in building a modular refinery in the southern Akwa Ibom state, NNPC said in an emailed statement.
The modular refinery would have a capacity of 10,000 bpd said NNPC spokesman Ndu Ughamadu in the statement.
