NNPC Awards Crude Term Contracts

NNPC has awarded a number of crude oil term contracts for 2017. Of the 220 bids received by the state-run firm, contracts went to 39 companies.

Of the 39 contracts, 18 went to Nigerian firms and 11 went to international traders. The remaining 10 contracts went to three NOCs, five foreign refiners, and two trading units of NNPC.

All the contracts are for 32,000 bpd except a deal with Duke Oil Ltd, an oil trading arm of the NNPC, which shall be for 90,000 bpd.
