NNPC has a new group managing director in Joseph Dawha. President Goodluck Jonathan relieved Andrew Yakubu of his position and put Dawha in the post effective immediately. Before this recent appointment Dawha was acting group executive director, Exploration and Production at NNPC.
The Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), Reuben Abati, reported that Jonathan also approved the appointment of Anthony Muoneke as the managing director for NPDC. The top spot at NPDC had been vacant for more than five months.
Other appointments included Aisha Abdurrahman as the group executive director, Commercial and Investment at NNPC, while Attahiru Yusuf, formerly group executive director, Commerce & Investments, takes over for her as group executive director, Business Development, NNPC.
